To piggy back off of our earlier article on how to Find Coffee in Seconds With Your Smartphone, there are plenty of other apps for coffee lovers that you won’t know how you lived without. Here’s a few that you’ll want to download as soon as you can!

1. CoffeeGuru ($1.99): If coffee chains aren’t your thing, and you want to be pointed in the direction of great local coffee shops, then the CoffeeGuru app is for you. This app searches over 7,200 independent coffee shops in the U.S., Canada, UK, and Ireland and points you in the right direction of the locals. Post your own reviews of coffee shops, or submit ones that aren’t already included in the app’s database.

2. Art of Coffee ($2.99): If you haven’t gotten around to being a barista and want to learn how to make amazing latte art, then this app is your next step! The Art of Coffee app has tutorials for over 30 different latte art designs–each contains step-by-step instructions, along with picture and video instructions so that you can learn how you learn best.

3. CoffeeTalk ($0.99): Calling all baristas in training or coffee enthusiasts! Consider this app your coffee dictionary, complete with plenty of terms and definitions of some common (and not so common) coffee related terms.

4. Percolator ($2.99): Looking for a way to add some extra spice to your iPhone photos? Use this app to add coffee bubble like effects to your photos!

5. Barista ($2.99): Need to learn how to make a ristretto or caffè latte in a pinch? This barista app provides you with step-by-step instructions to making your favorite drinks. It comes with a glossary of terms and an extraction timer.

Find Coffee in Seconds With Your Smartphone

Ever in a hurry and need to find the closet cup of jo? Or have the urge to try a new coffee shop? Or are in a new city or town and want to know where the local coffee shops are?

Well using these two apps, you can find search for the closet and local coffee shops by just a few clicks on your Smarphones!

Android

Android has an app called Find Me Coffee. Find Me Coffee shows you all the coffee shops near your location or any other location in the WORLD! It allows you to

• Read/submit ratings and reviews
• Get directions and a map to the shop
• Phone Numbers so you can call ahead and see if they have your favorite drink!
• Filter to search and find coffee shops with amenities like food, WiFi, drive thru, etc

It quickly searches the shops from small independent cafes to the big brands like Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts and Carbiou!

iPhone

Apple’s version of this app is called BeanHunter. It essentially does the same exact thing as Find Me Coffee, but works for those who have and iPhone over an Android.
